Case Study: Cotton Tree Interiors

Designed by Suffolk-based interior and build practice, Cotton Tree Interiors, this ravishing residential project utilises strong accent colours and quality materials to create a refreshing coastal home.
The brief required the team to imbue the property with a fresh energy, combining dynamic colours and patterns with existing furniture pieces and features. High quality materials were used throughout, while clever storage and practical elements were a key consideration to ensure easy family living.
The ground-floor bedroom was reconfigured to include a small ensuite and storage cupboard. Borrowing some space from an adjoining room, the ensuite features a generous shower with compact bifold doors, and a concealed cistern, to create a shelf for storage. The main design feature is our Ric Rac Glacier Mint Two Tiles covering the floor, wonderfully complemented by the blue painted woodwork, rendered in William Yeoward’s Studio Blue.
The sitting room was reimagined as a warm and inviting space, with linen blinds to augment the natural feel of the room, while the wood burner nook is clad in our Black Herringbone Honed Marble Tiles, creating a snug corner for cool evenings.
The garden room ensuite features a well-sized shower, complete with a recessed wall cubby, ensuring practical storage without compromising style. Bert & May Luna Livid Porcelain floor tiles inject colour and interest, becoming a highlight of this compact yet striking bathroom.
