Our blue encaustic tiles are not just ordinary tiles - they are a true work of art that can elevate any space into a luxurious and tranquil environment. Each tile is carefully crafted by skilled artisans and made using conventional encaustic tile methods. They pour their heart and soul into every detail, ensuring each piece is unique. The gorgeous blue hues of this handmade collection are not just any ordinary shades of blue – our palette is hand-picked and influenced by the muted tones in our reclaimed tiles rescued from Spain. From darker tones of royal navy to lighter shades of lake blue - each pigment exudes a sense of calmness that can make any room feel like a serene oasis.
You'll find a variety of lovely textures and finishes in our blue collection. There are chalky cement tiles mixed with crushed marble and natural pigments to achieve a stunning, raw finish, glossy glazed tiles, and porcelain tiles which are hard wearing as much as they are beautiful.

Our blue tiles work beautifully in both bathrooms and kitchens as both wall tiles and floor tiles. Except for our gazed tiles which are not suitable for floors, they make a stunning splashback.
Our plain encaustic blues are perfectly at home on walls and floors. Or to add drama to your space, our blue patterned tiles work fantastically underfoot, whether in a statement hallway or living space.

Combining blue with shape and colour
This collection compromises a wonderful array of shapes: square, herringbone, hexagon, rectangle and the popular metro tile. You can either lay them alone for a cohesive look or experiment with pairings to divide a space.
In terms of colour, blue is versatile. With a soothing effect on the mind and body, it can promote relaxation, so we love to see blue in interiors. In vibrant shades, it can also be energizing creating a sense of openness in a room, particularly when paired with white tiles and other light neutral shades.
There are in fact several colours that work with blue. One is grey, it’s a neutral colour that can add depth and sophistication to a blue colour scheme. It can also help to balance out brighter shades of blue such as our azure blue. Then there is green, a natural complement, as it is found in nature in many shades, such as teal, turquoise, and seafoam green. This combination can create a serene atmosphere.
Pink looks fabulous with blue, whilst it’s a contrasting colour it can add a playful and feminine touch to your interior. Finally, we'd like to mention yellow – it's bright and cheery and will add warmth to blue tones. This combination plays well in beachy or coastal-style decor. To find a shade that’s right for your space, make sure you order a sample.
