Encaustic Cement Tiles
Our encaustic tiles are designed in the UK and hand-poured by a family of fourth-generation artisan makers in Spain. Whether plain or patterned, they're meticulously crafted with crushed marble for extra strength and a beautiful, raw finish.
Also known as cement tiles, they are ideal for indoor and outdoor use, on both floors, walls, and other surfaces.
Browse our collection below filled with stunning pink, grey, white, green, beige, and black
pigments.
What are the benefits of using cement tiles?
Durable and versatile, cement tiles are suitable for indoor and outdoor use. They offer low maintenance, lasting quality, and a unique, character-filled appearance due to their hand-poured nature.
CEMENT FLOOR TILES
Naturally slip resistant and incredibly hard wearing, cement tiles are a natural choice for floors. Create simple schemes with our neutrals and plain colours or go all-out with intricate designs or bold patterns. The chalky texture of cement floor tiles means they don’t create an ‘echo’ sound, making them ideal for large spaces in need of a soft edge.
CEMENT WALL TILES
Using cement wall tiles is a great alternative to wallpaper or paint and creates stunning depth. For versatility, look to patterned styles and lay them in unique tessellations to create an arrangement that’s totally yours.
PLAIN CEMENT TILES
Our plain cement tiles come in 25 colours, ranging from very light tones such as our classic Brighton Stone to deep shades including Darkroom Black, our darkest colour. From delicate blues to statement-making pinks, we’ve worked hard to curate a palette that’s bursting with carefully considered colours that sit on just the right side of bright. While they cover a full spectrum of shades, what all our colours have in common is a soft, chalky quality for which we have become known.
ARE CEMENT TILES WATERPROOF?
Sealed cement tiles are waterproof and versatile for bathrooms, wet rooms, and outdoor use. Required sealing products are available in our tile protection range.. You can read more on our guide to installing tiles here.
ARE THEY SUITABLE FOR FLOORS AND WALLS?
Cement tiles are suitable for floors, walls, splashbacks, high-traffic areas, wet rooms, underfloor heating, fireplaces, and outdoors, too...
What are the different shapes of cement tiles?
20CM X 20CM SQUARE CEMENT TILES
This size and shape of cement tile has been around for centuries and is very much a classic look. No nonsense and easy to arrange, our 20cm x 20xm squares suit any space, and are particularly successful on floors and patios.
10CM X 10CM SQUARE CEMENT TILES
Our half-size squares are great for smaller spaces or areas where you want to create intricate patterns or patchwork looks.
HERRINGBONE CEMENT TILES
Herringbones can be used to create patterns consisting of short, parallel lines. Go for simple stripes or a zig-zag design to add texture and depth to your walls or floor.
HEXAGONAL CEMENT TILES
These six-sided tiles add real interest to interiors. Sophisticated and timeless, they can be used in one uniform colour or several different shades to create a bespoke patchwork design.
