Grow House Grow
In collaboration with Katie Deedy of Brooklyn-based wallpaper and tile brand Grow House Grow, we bring a collection of tiles inspired by her Cuban heritage and traditional folklore to the UK.
The three distinct tile ranges Jardín de Luna, Fresa and Montauk Daisy combine Latin American influence with magical folklore, resulting in playful and whimsical designs that Grow House Grow is known for.
Available in encaustic cement and porcelain material finishes.
Introducing Katie Deedy of Grow House Grow
Grow House Grow was founded in 2007 by artist Katie Deedy, to combine the beauty of pattern making with her love of storytelling.
Each pattern evokes this playful and sometimes mysterious hybrid; from forgotten histories to magical folklore (and even some family stories of her own), Grow House Grow’s mission is to design products that have a tale to tell.
Lee Thornley, Founder of Bert & May says: “Katie’s talent for storytelling through design perfectly complements our philosophy of blending craft and creativity at Bert & May. The tiles in this collection are celebrations of cultural heritage, folklore, and artistic craftsmanship, and we couldn’t be happier to bring Grow House Grow to the UK for the first time.”
